Celebrating Dwarfism Awareness Day: Embracing Differences and Spreading Kindness

On October 25th, we celebrated Dwarfism Awareness Day! Students and staff wore green to spread kindness and celebrate each other’s differences. Sadie Caprara (a second grade student here at Norwalk Catholic) was born with a skeletal dysplasia, hypochondroplasia, that affects her long bones. Sadie is able to do anything anyone else can do, but you may notice it does affect her overall height! God makes everyone exactly how they are supposed to be, so embrace it. There are over 40,000 different kinds of skeletal dysplasias, so we believe that it is pretty darn special! Thank you for supporting and advocating Sadie & continuing to spread kindness & love!
