Self-Control and Kindness
This week's Faithful Flyers were nominated for demonstrating Self-Control and Kindness. These young men truly led by example. Recently, Mrs. Matlack and I have been encouraging students to clean up after themselves and practice good manners in the lunchroom. Last Tuesday, these three boys took it upon themselves to clean up trash from other tables and even other grades, all without being asked. They continued this act of kindness on Wednesday and Thursday, stepping up each day without hesitation.
