The EC has begun talking about Advent in class and in the atrium. Advent is the start of the Christmas season and a time of great celebration. We believe that Jesus is the son of God, so this is our way to celebrate the time leading up to his birth, and its importance in the story of Christmas. If you are looking for a religious gift for your child please be sure to check out this website:

Today as part of the celebration for St. Nicholas students wore pjs to school. We celebrate St. Nicholas for being someone who loved Jesus and loved to serve others. St. Nick was alive many, many years ago, and he liked to help other people who were in need by giving them gifts or money. We were even lucky enough to have St. Nick stop for a visit and leave us a treat!
