Yearbook Digitization Project

We need your help!
The St. Paul High School Alumni Association is working to preserve our history. The yearbooks and the Look-A-Heads have so much information in them and our plan is to digitize them. This project will have a few phases, and may run alongside each other, but the first step will be in getting all the yearbooks scanned.

Step 1: Scan all yearbooks (1923-2024)
Step 2: Scan all class year composites (1923-2024)
Step 3: Webpage: Alumni can access all yearbooks and composites in a central location.
Step 4: Touch Wall: Housed in a common space (Convocation Center), the Flyer community can access all yearbooks and composites when visiting the facility.
Step 5: Incorporate Touch Wall Features: Ex: Veteran’s information (extension of the Veteran's wall located in the High School) and Hall of Fame Inductees.
Step 6: Investigate Pull-Out Feature Options: Ex: Arts; athletics; extra-curriculars like Mock Trial, Model UN, Homecoming, Prom, etc.
Step 7: Digitize all the Look-A-Heads. These documents that are becoming very fragile and need to preserved before our history is permanently lost.

Alumni Challenge
We challenge each graduating class to sponsor their yearbook to be scanned. We know there may be more than one person in each class that would be willing to sponsor, but we have years where there are no surviving members of those early classes. All gifts/donations that are made to the Archival Fund will be put directly toward the scanning of historical documents and the Touch Wall.
